a look back ( and forward )

Mike's Music Exchange at one point was an great little instrument store, recording studio, live music venue, and lesson center combined into a single facility. Unfortunately the economy caught up with us, and we had to close up our physical location.  We would like to give a heartfeld  thanks the fantastic artists, technicians, and muslic loving folks that helped is in our efforts to promote live music in our neighborhood here in Santa Fe, NM.

Upon the closing of Mike's, we were approached by a fantastic group music lovers and community activists that wanted to keep on supporting live music here in our area. Shortly thereafter, the non-profit organization Santa Fe Performance Exchange was formed, and to this day has presented dozens of great shows in both the original venue as well as other venues in our area. We hope that you will continue to support live music through SFPX and their efforts.

our latest adventure

Since we closed up shop we have been busy working on several projects - in addition to aurdio engineering ( live sound, mixing/mastering recordings ) we have also been busy working on a fun project for the DIY maker community. We are pleased to present our latest creation "GinSing", which is a sound synthesizer board that plugs into a popular programmable microcontroller.  Check out our website for more info.
